I had arranged with the Nonsuch Mansion Wedding Venue that if it ever snowed I would attempt to grab some promotional shots for them. Boy has it snowed in the UK. Worst in 30 years apparently, regardless me and the 4×4 went off in search of snow, ice and blue skies.
Day 1
Well it was cold, grey and it was snowing when i got there. I grabbed a panoramic and I grab some arty B&W stuff which I love and might make some lovely stock photography going forward would it make the promo cut ?
Very moody and whilst I love the B&W for what they are it did not reflect the venue on a wonderful winter’s day, so I sat waiting for the right moments.
Day 2
I got lucky the next day was perfect. The snow was now icy and the sky reached out in all it’s blue to transform the venue into the promo shots I wanted to deliver to the team there. I think this would make an amazing Winter Wedding Venue. I guess if a bride wanted to be placed into the scene then it could be done with some post production !!! Not too many requests please. I look forward to shooting at this venue a number of times this year, I hope to collate an all seasons collection of images, look out for the spring editions.
I wish you all a prosperous new year, and hope to see you as soon as i can. Thanks for visiting and come back regularly. T
