What a brilliant, fun and detailed day again. I am so lucky with my couples who love their photography and K & D are no exception. The Bride and Groom prepared a highly detailed day for their guests from Churches, to ancient fields, to an evening of colour and dance. There were so many more moments I could have put into my collection but I needed to keep it focused as I look to design the album and more I think the moments below for me reminds me of the day and how it evolved. A huge thanks the the girls at Painshill as ever for a brilliant day, and of course to the Bride and Groom who were brilliant.

Denbies Wine Estate Wedding – The Wedding Photography of Katka & Mark

Never shot a Wedding in a Wine Estate, normally leave that to the New Zealanders or Aussies, however England and it’s wines are getting onto the map. Denbies is high on that list and to combine that with a bride who is artistic and loves details is a great receipt for a fun day with lots of beauty for a wonderful couple whose lives intertwine so perfectly.

Thanks to Mike Hetherington my buddy and shooter who fills my day with laughs and angles, to Image Studio for making a beautiful bride just stunning and to Dave of Boogie Nights for his Digital rig and sounds.

As ever with a day full of great moments I have to restrict myself to those moments memorable to me and sometimes just fun. Biggest thanks to Kate and Mark for being fun and ready to walk in the field of grapes. The full slide show is HERE if you have the password.

Nonsuch Mansion Wedding Photography – The Marriage of Charlotte and Kenny

Summer Weddings in the UK with great weather have almost become a gift rather than an expectation, but Charlotte followed the golden rule and what an amazing, colourful, brilliant day ensued.

The day was filled with emotion and laughs, some serious dance moves and a lot of good weather. I must publicly thank you both for being great sports, to Blue Topaz for some really wonderful music, to Nonsuch for their continued support of their Vendors and to Steve at Simply Weddings for being a great support and a laugh.

Special thanks to my friend Chris Bissell who turned up to help and keep his hand in the spontaneous world of Wedding Photography.

Meridian Hall and Savill Court Wedding Venue – Marriage of Kiran & Naveen

An engagement party at Meridian Hall in West Sussex to the magnificent Savill Court in Windsor when I get a chance to combine stately homes with Asian beauty the Weddings and the shots start to build themselves. Each venue has its areas and sections which are great to use, some venues have more than there is time to use sadly and both Meridian and Savill are two such venues.

Across the two days we saw some great dancing, experienced great food and even made some new friends who love what we do both inside Weddings and photography outside.

I have a great thanks to Divine Musiq and Amit who was great to work with and great fun.

Asian Wedding Ceremony – Nimisha & Paresh in Coventry

Day 2 of this wonderful couples Wedding arrangements saw us move to Coventry and a converted venue for their final Asian Ceremony of Marriage. With all the usual and traditional elements the couple were still able to add in some great detail in particular the clothes and the man dap design stood out for me.

Wedding Ceremony at Warwick House, Warwickshire – The Marriage of Nimisha & Paresh

Moving into Early Spring I had to drive north of the Watford Gap expecting bad weather according to the forecast. Never believe it in the UK. Warwick House is this very unassuming delightful venue set in the middle of a village and today was going to be home to a wonderful civil ceremony and around 250 guests.

Nimisha and Paresh had planned a detailed and fabulous day, lots of colour matching and music that I challenge anyone not to tap to. I found some new Punjabi tracks I love. It was a packed day, my buddy and second shooter Mike Hetherington was there to get some angles and challenge me constantly to find new creativity. I love this set of images as I was constantly surprised through out the day of what was possible and how much detail the couple went into to.

Wedding Ceremony at Great Fosters, Surrey – The Marriage of Emma & Sam

A beautiful winter day in March kicked off the Wedding season with a brilliantly fun and crazy Wedding with lots of detail and attention including a great dress design that allowed the ‘bump’ to appear when expecting mummy wanted it to.

Great Fosters Wedding Venue in Surrey is a fabulous winter or indeed all year round venue, so when we had nothing but amazing sun and the heat of the summer in March this just completed a wonderful day for the couple. In keeping with my style I wanted to pick 10 great moments of the day that I felt made up parts of the enjoyment and capture of their Wedding day.

A big thanks to Pete from Dj at my Party who kept the crowds going all night with both music and props and to Great Fosters who were very professional and great to their suppliers for the evening.

Of course my biggest thanks to Sam and Emma and bump for a great day.

The Wedding Photography at Nonsuch Mansion – The Marriage of Antonia & Doug

As a final chapter in the 2011 Calendar a Christmas Wedding is perfect. The Venue I love to shoot in winter is Nonsuch Mansion. They decorate it like a home and the fires roaring the festive colours make it somewhere to relish on a cold winter night. The food is always divine and I always have to thank the team on hand who support us.

Combine that with a wonderful and so in love couple, with the great support of their families and friends and I hoped that provided the weather held, this would be a day to remember. Checking on the blog shots below tells you everything you need to know.

The ceremony ran to time, the couple were there on time and the sun set in perfect time. I hope all share and enjoy the Slideshow which completes the day when the weather just stayed perfect for a December Wedding.

As ever I get to choose some of those moments I loved to experience or capture. One that sticks out to me is the Black & White shot. It reminds me of a timeless period, the softness of the image dates it pre-digital but the clean contrast modernises the image. The decor of the Wedding also left me wanting to go home and open Santa’s presents under my tree.

Thank you to Antonia & Doug for their warm welcome and chance to share in their lovely day. Heres to a 2012 and an even more amazing 2013.

Wedding Photography at Chalk Farm Hotel Wedding Venue – The Marriage of Veronica & Paul

This Wedding was originally two, and then became three. It never lost its details, or careful attention, the bride hung in there all day and soon we shall see all 3 of them. We had a lovely Winter day, not too cold and when the sun shone through everything sparkled with Veronica’s detail she had thought about. As usual I like to pick my favourite shots, or just moments of the day which either surprise delight or just make me wow.

The fun images reflect the couple and family’s personality, the flowers were so detailed and the kids just superb to work with, contrary to popular comments about young kids and animals !!

Generally I would not put in shots of bacon sandwiches, but boy were these some of the best I have ever tasted, so the image stays as a tribute to the couple, the Chef and my taste buds that wanted reminding.

Thank you to Veronica and Paul for a fun filled and easy going day. I hope the family love the slideshow, and I look forward to hearing all about little No3 in due course.

Bury Court Farm Wedding Venue – the Marriage of Sam & Mark

A wonderful winter day, full of the colours of late autumn and the clarity of that time of year. Sam & Mark had a wonderful Wedding full of amazing detail a few surprises and lots of entertainment. They have gone onto an amazing round the world tour for several months and I only hope they get to grab time in an internet cafe and have a look at some of my favourite moments and the video slideshow here.

I hope they more than enjoy their travels, we are all envious and look forward to their return.
